Nascentia Health is proud to congratulate pediatric home care nurse Dea Kuiper, RN, on being named the June Nave Hero by Nave Law Firm, an honor recognizing individuals who make an extraordinary impact through compassion, service, and dedication to others.
Kuiper has dedicated more than two decades to caring for children and families throughout Central New York, providing skilled pediatric home care while helping families navigate some of life’s most challenging moments. Her commitment to delivering compassionate, patient-centered care has earned the admiration of colleagues, patients, and the families she serves.
According to Nave Law Firm, Kuiper was selected for consistently going above and beyond for her patients, whether by helping families access essential resources, supporting parents through difficult circumstances, or advocating for the unique needs of the children in her care. The recognition also highlights her many professional accomplishments, including being named Employee of Distinction and Home Care & Hospice Nurse of the Year.
Kuiper was nominated for the honor by Ashlea Schad, Vice President of Development and Strategic Partnerships at Nascentia Health.

As the June Nave Hero, Kuiper received a $100 gift card and has been entered into the running for the firm’s $1,000 Nave Hero Grand Prize, which will be awarded later this year. Her story will also be featured by Nave Law Firm as part of its ongoing recognition program.
