Helping You Stay Independent at Home
CAPABLE stands for Community Aging in Place, Advancing Better Living for Elders.
This home-based program helps older adults improve safety and independence. You work with a registered nurse, occupational therapist, and handy worker to set personal goals, address everyday challenges, and make practical improvements at home.
There is no cost to participate in CAPABLE or receive services covered by the program. The program is funded by a grant from the New York State Department of Health.
