Nascentia Health Donates 5,500 Pairs of Bombas Socks to Community Organizations Across Central New York

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it serves, Nascentia Health has once again partnered with Bombas through the company’s “1 Purchased = 1 Donated” program, helping provide socks to individuals and families throughout Central New York.

For the second consecutive year, Nascentia Health distributed 5,500 pairs of Bombas socks to several local organizations serving children, families, veterans, and individuals experiencing hardship.

Donations were made to the following community partners:

  • Rome Rescue Mission
  • The Center of Utica
  • Feed Our Vets Food Pantry
  • Rescue Mission of Utica
  • Henry P. Smith Post 24 American Legion
  • American Ukrainian Veterans & Men’s Club
  • The Neighborhood Center, Inc.
  • Central New York Veteran’s Outreach Center | Utica Center for Development, Inc.

While socks are among the most requested items at shelters and community organizations, they are often one of the least donated. Through this partnership, Nascentia Health is helping provide warmth, comfort, and dignity to neighbors who need it most.

“At Nascentia Health, caring extends far beyond the home healthcare services we provide,” said Ashlea Schad, Vice President of Development & Strategic Partnerships. “We are proud to continue partnering with Bombas to support local organizations making a meaningful difference every day throughout the region. Together, we can help meet basic needs while strengthening the health and well-being of our communities.”

This initiative reflects Nascentia Health’s ongoing commitment to community outreach and improving lives through meaningful partnerships. By working alongside local organizations, Nascentia Health continues to invest in programs that promote wellness, compassion, and support for individuals across Central New York.
