CDPAP Clock-in Survey – For Dates of Sunday 4/20/25 to Saturday 4/26/25
We have simplified and shortened the Survey this week! This is a survey, so that we can help to ensure Nascentia Members get care and the Personal Assistants (CDPA) (Aide / Workers) get paid.
Key Information
- We continue to update our key stakeholders, including you, regarding the CDPAP transition to PPL.
- Is this survey a Timesheet? NO, you should be clocking-in and clocking-out in PPL@Home timesheet app called Time4Care – https://pplfirst.com/CDPAP.
- Most PAs will find it easier to use the Time4Care App. As an alternative, some may find it necessary to use Telephony (Phone-in) where you call into a number and record your time. In addition, if needed, PPL also has a PPL Paper Timesheets. This is explained on the PPL website. You only need to use one method to record your time.
- This survey is for the dates of April 20th (Sunday) to April 26th (Saturday) (a new survey for week of April 27th (Sunday) will come out later).
- PPL can pay you directly for work performed according to a Member’s Care Plan. So we need to all work together to get all time logged into PPL.
- Should I be working with PPL? Yes!
- NYS has stated that a small number of consumers can have their Personal Assistants (CDPA) (Aide / Worker) get paid through a prior FI, if certain conditions are met. This option only applies to a small subset of members. Also, many of the prior FIs have told us that they are closed. We are seeing the majority of care being logged into PPL. Is “the majority” good enough? No, absolutely not. Nascentia is pushing very hard on PPL to make this work for everyone, it is PPL’s responsibility to ensure everyone can log time and get paid timely. We are here to help navigate this, if you think you fall into this narrow category, what needs to happen? The Member (Consumer) should work with their Care Management team to determine if they fall into this small group of Members – which will be according to NYS guidance. We want every PA to get paid, and paid timely.
- If you are clocking in with PPL@Home timesheet app called Time4Care, that is great!! Keep going.
- Guidelines for your clock-in and clocking-out this week
- If you hear conflicting information from anyone else, remember what is important is care being delivered and timely payment for that care. Let’s work to get registered in PPL so that every PA can clock in and out. NYS has asked us all to get everyone registered with and start logging time with PPL!
- IMPORTANT: If you are now able to clock-in and clock out of PPL, and also, you were not able to clock-in or clock-out on any of the dates from April 1, 2015 to April 26th, 2025, and also, you worked those days, and also, you did NOT get paid by another FI for those shifts you worked: In PPL you will be able to “Add Past Shift”. Please see the third page of the Time4Care guide below. You can also Add Past Shifts in PPL@Home under the “Timesheet” tab. Since you cannot legally get paid twice for the SAME time worked: If you also clocked-in and clocked-out with a different FI (other than PPL) for the same days and times, let that other FI know your status so that we can work to make this right. Note: Do not add time on any timesheet for time you were already paid for, you can only get paid once for time worked. We want everyone to get paid as timely as possible.
